Terms of Service

WingRoster Staging Backups · Effective September 7, 2026

These terms describe permitted use of the WingRoster staging service at staging.wingroster.com. Contact fulcherphilip@gmail.com with questions. By using this staging service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

Authorized testing

Use the service only with the permission of the school or account owner and within your assigned role. Use synthetic test records. Do not upload information you lack authority to process, attempt to access another school, share credentials, or interfere with the service or its security.

School records and responsibilities

You and your school retain your rights in submitted records. You authorize WingRoster and its service providers to process those records as necessary to provide the functions you use, as described in the Privacy Policy. Schools are responsible for permissions, record accuracy, authorized signatures, and applicable training and recordkeeping obligations.

WingRoster does not determine whether a person or aircraft is legally fit to fly. Staging reports and calculated totals must be checked against authoritative records. Do not use this testing environment as the sole record system for operational or regulatory decisions.

Backups and Google Drive

Connect only a Google account you are authorized to use for the school or an approved synthetic staging test. Connecting authorizes WingRoster to create a private folder and manage the backup files used with this app. Daily scheduling and retention cleanup are separate settings. Google account permissions, quota, service availability, and token expiry can interrupt delivery.

You are responsible for securely retaining the matching private recovery key and independent backup copies. Losing the private key may make archives unrecoverable. A verified upload establishes that the encrypted file matches the upload; it does not establish successful decryption, a desktop copy, or a full operational restore. Test recovery separately.

Disconnecting stops future use of that connection but preserves existing files. Reconnecting may create a new folder. Cleanup, when enabled, can permanently remove eligible tracked Drive backups. Retention does not automatically delete stored database copies.

Availability and ending access

This is an evolving test service. Features may change, be interrupted, or be withdrawn, and no uptime or successful-recovery guarantee is offered. Maintain independent records. Access may be restricted to protect the service or when authorization ends. You may stop using the service and request operator assistance with staging data removal as described in the Privacy Policy.

Other services and applicable rights

Your use of Google Drive remains subject to your agreement with Google. These terms do not replace your school agreements or exclude rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. They do not establish production subscription prices, a production service-level agreement, or a production data-processing agreement.

Changes

Revised terms will be posted here with an updated date. Review changes before continuing to use the service.
